Color Accuracy Disclaimer

Screen images are a close representation of actual artwork color, intended as a guide only, and should not be regarded as absolute. 

ARTIST INTENT

Miranda intends for the color of online images of her artwork to be as true-to-life as possible. With that in mind, artwork is photographed and edited for maximum accuracy of color representation by using:

  • a pure white backdrop
  • 5000K lighting
  • a color palette tool
  • color calibration editing software

SCREEN COLOR RENDERING

Artist cannot guarantee the color you see on your device is an exact match to the artwork. Exact color fidelity is difficult to render, due to inconsistencies in browsers, monitors, color calibration, display brightness, ambient lighting temperature, photography, digital scans, etc.

LIGHTING CONDITIONS

The lighting used where your artwork is displayed, (warm, fluorescent or natural), will affect artwork color appearance.

PRINTER CALIBRATION, INK, AND PAPER VARIATION

For prints of artwork, artist can’t guarantee a 100% color match to the original artwork. Printers, inks, and papers are susceptible to variation, as well as changes over time.
