Love conservation, creatures, and colorful art?

Then you’re in the right place!

Hi, I’m Miranda and I’ve been an ‘Artist’ since before I can remember. Hardly a day goes by when I’m not drawing, sculpting, painting.

Remember the kid — nose deep in the Animal Encyclopedia? — Yep, that’s me. When my kindergarten teacher had a ‘Name the Most Birds’ contest, — Guess who won? — I knew more birds than her!

I have a passion for the natural world…

and all creatures on it, under it, above it. Even less cuddly ones, like insects and reptiles. I love critters, biology, and habitats so much, I’m studying for my B.S. in environmental science.

OK, I don’t LOOOOVE studying — but I love learning and sharing what I learn.

Right now, I’m interning at a bird rehabilitation sanctuary. I have Osprey nibbles on my waist to prove it. One day I hope to work helping marine animals and birds.

Fortunately, by combining my passions…

I move compositions out of my head and into my art. Living in southwest Florida, I’m inspired by this subtropic paradise every day.

As part of my mission, I hope my art brings attention to much needed conservation in our area. By showcasing art that’s bright and colorful, I want to inspire more people to get out and see their local environment with fresh eyes.

Here you’ll find…

original paintings, sketches, and prints inspired by creatures I’m lucky enough to see almost daily. Whether you’re looking for a home decor piece or a special gift for a friend, I hope you’ll find something you love. And if you’re the kind that craves something special — that speaks just to you — I’d be honored to create a one-of-a-kind commission piece.

My creative process starts with exploring coastlines, conservation areas, and natural habitats, where I capture vibrant colors, textures, and shapes. Using memory and photos, I create bold works with traditional mediums like watercolor and acrylics to convey movement and an upbeat vibe.

My main goal with each piece is to show the unique spirit of the Gulf Coast and stir up a feeling of gratitude — for the planet we inhabit. I want to create work that celebrates the amazing beauty of our region – and hopefully, inspire others to do their part to conserve it.

Thanks for visiting…

and taking the time to learn about my passion for art and conservation. I invite you to take a look at my work and join me on my artistic journey in this amazing corner of the world.
