This unique charcoal print features a sweet baby gator, just a few months old. Gumbo is watching everyone in the room. His expression seems to be wonder, mixed with amusement. Since it’s almost feeding time at the rescue center – he’s a little hungry.
Miranda learned about and held baby “Gumbo,” while visiting an an alligator rescue center in Louisiana. She was so inspired by little Gumbo cutie, she sketched him while riding from the rescue center in Jennings to the McIlheney Preserve on Avery Island.
